Nice microwave… for 2 years

Microwave quit working after two years. I am replacing with same model so I do not have to redo mounting bracket and ductwork. Hope this one lasts longer!!

We had our previous microwave for almost 10 years and never had a problem. If this one last nearly as long I will be happy. It has been an awesome microwave.

Replaced same model that failed after 3 years.
The first one we received a very loud magneto and they had to replace it immediately. This one seems less well constructed than our one from 3 years ago - door very light and had sharp edge on door where you open it - I had to file the plastic edge. Only bought the same model as it would easily fit into our opening that was fitted with an external vent.

I have had GE Profile appliances in the past and regretted not purchasing them when I remodeled. Now, after 7 years, I am replacing my Kitchenaid appliances with new GE Profile. I love this microwave! My only complaint is the factory quality control needs to up have an overhaul. My original microwave was damaged IN THE BOX. No visible damage to the actual box. Had to wait an additional 1.5 weeks for the replacement. No happy with that but LOVE the microwave itself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second GE Profile microwave and range. I bought it with confidence because the last time I bought both was in 2008. It is 2025 and it was time for me to update those appliances! I look forward to using both!

Its been only a month but so we we love the features and the capacity is great.
Installation was a breeze and setup only took 20 minutes that includes removing old microwave. Controls are easy to use. This microwave is more powerful than my previous one
