Bad keypads!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third one of this model in 7 years. The key pad went out on first two and of course, just after the warranty period. I purchased the extended warranty this time and hoping the unit lasts longer than the first two.

Beautiful looks and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything went smooth except one of the nuts at the top of the oven was not threaded luckily I was able to pull the one off of my old GE microwave and replace it but I had to take the microwave top off which was a big inconvenience. Other than that so far it's a great buy

Very loud

This microwave was a current generation of the model I bought 5-6 years ago that just quit working. This new one is very similar, but it is VERY loud so I returned it to place of purchase. The newer version also has smaller capacity than previous model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good microwave. Large capacity. Easy install. Loud when cooking though. Humming sound gets annoying. Should be quieter for the price. Would maybe recommend. But not for that price.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could have seen this microwave in person. Unfortunately it looks nice and modern compared to my old 2011 microwave BUT there are so many things that distract from it. For example there is no backlight to the numbers, controls and settings. You can hardly see the buttons! Also the dark interior makes it hard to see to clean. Finally, I thought I could DIY but had to call in the experts. Overall the power is good and I am able to use it successfully with glasses and overhead lighting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave has a nice clean appearance and functions well. Sometimes its difficult to see the letters on the controls depending on the light in the room. When operating, the fan vent is relatively quiet compared to previous microwaves.

Everything we wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love ths above range microwave. The controls are simple and clear. The updraft vent with the multiple settings is a great improvement to providing over range venting. The large size handles anything we need to microwave. The power settings are so much more powerful than our previous microwave leading to faster heating and cooking times. And the installation was quick and fit seemlessly into the cabinetry we had. All said would recommend this unit to all.
