No high hopes

This is my third GE microwave, including two Profiles and a Cafe in 6 years. I frankly don't have high hopes for this one either but at least it was cheaper than the cafe.

The microwave fits my needs. However, selecting cook time or other features is difficult -- I need to press very hard in order for them to work.

Works well, looks good. The only issue I have found is the under lighting generates to much heat inside the unit. Going to try using a LED bulb instead of the factory one.

We'd like to share some information about the heat you are noticing from the lamp. This can be normal to notice, if the cooktop lights are left on full power for prolonged periods, the unit and bottom of the microwave will become warm to the touch. We only recommend using the bulbs intended for this model, part WB25X10030, as we haven't tested the application of other bulbs and can't confirm their efficiency. If you believe the unit is getting warmer than normal, we recommend making an appointment with our Bodewell service team. We want to assist you with your sensor feature on your microwave. It is important not to use this feature twice in succession on the same food portion because it can overcook your food.

Under Microwave light

The under microwave light is very dim compared to previous model like this. Disappointing Clock light to to bright.

New Microwave

The only thing that was a concern was pairing the Chef connect to my range . Called GE and the tech and I couldn’t get the 2 to connect . A GE repair man came to my house and got it to work . He said that it needs to be paired within 30 Seconds. He unplugged the microwave and paired it . Instructions for pairing need updated.
I would recommend this to a friend!
