Noisy, particularly the fan. Keypad should light up at night, would be handier. Door noisy when clsing

Looks beautiful, inside and out

We had a GE Profile Microwave and GE Profile electric Range for 18 years, the microwave quit, a couple weeks ago, We were very proud of the excellent service, never had any problems. We upgraded with a GE Profile 2.1 Cu Ft. model PVM9005SJSS microwave oven, and GE Profile "30" Slide-In-Front Control Induction and Convection Range model: PHS930SLSS. Beautiful pair. We gave our old GE Profile Range to a friend and we are sure she will get many years of dependable service.

A beautiful update to our kitchen.

Our last microwave bit the dust after just 5 years of use (Not GE) This is what our warranty service offered to replace it. Not only fit right in the space the old one came out of, but somehow they maximized the interior cooking area, It is huge con paired to our last one. It ‘s front is most black glass so it fit in well with the other stainless steel appliances ( every company’s stainless steel is slightly different) but also would fit in very well with black appliances or even black stainless steel. It mounts using a French cleat system which is very easy to use and sturdy. Controls are all along the bottom edge which makes it much easier for my wife to reach. The list of features on this machine is impressive, so if you like lots of features, it has it for you. My wife and I use our microwave just about everyday, but we don’t do a lot of fancy stuff. The good news for us is the added features don’t get in the way of simple use. We had it figured out in minutes and taking our time playing with the other features as we have time to learn them. Over all GE knocked this one out of the park!

Besides looking good, it works perfectly. The lights underneath are bright and the fan works great. I love the sleek profile of having no handle also.

Not worth it...

When we bought this microwave oven 4 years ago, we were led to believe that the Profile line was superior to other GE products. While the microwave worked fine for 4 years, it suddenly stopped... all electrical functions quit and it no longer works. We had to replace it... not worth repairing. To only get 4 years out of a top of the line product is a huge disappointment. Also, that door that covered the entire front of the microwave was not user friendly. Every time you opened the door you had to step back or get hit in the head.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
