The microwave has lived up to my expectations and has been very useful to my family. The only thing that I have to get use to is how wide the door swings open.

Not as good as the GE Profile it is replacing.

Less features that the GE profile it is replacing, (seven years ago we bought a Profile). The smart sensor is less smart and the key pad does not light, hard to find the buttons in dim lite room.

This microwave does not look as nice as depicted. The bottom strip with all the imprinted features, has a shabby film over it that looks bubbly and cheap. Also, the design of the imprinting on the black is difficult to read clearly.

Issues with the microwave

We've had the Model PVM9005SJSS for approximately four years and have been pleased with the microwave. However, it is now having issues; we have to open and shut the door numerous times to get the microwave display to come on so that it will work. Have other people had this issue? Is there a part that can be purchased for this issue for a DIY person?

No power, keeps blowing fuse.

Only had the Microwave for 3-6 months, currently not working - no power to system, also awaiting a fan which the tech believes is causing the fuse to blow, (happened twice) Would replace the fuse myself, but by design you would have to take it down and apart to replace. Awaiting parts on backorder, ended up purchasing a counter top for the time being just to re-heat food.
