Great microwave

Replace a fairly new Kitchen aid microwave with this GE microwave. Have not regretted it. Good fan & am glad to have the express cook options. Also like the no handle door. Would buy GE again in a heartbeat. Am actually considering replacing the other Kichenaid appliances I bought with GE.

A beautiful appliance!

Only had it for a week, but love using the various options it offers. It's very quiet, and the 2-level surface light is incredible. Can't wait to get the companion gas range, as they "sync" with each other. My current kitchen appliances are in "bisque", which most companies are phasing out. The new "slate" color is very nice and I really like the controls across the bottom.

So Far So Good

I was disappointed when my old ElectroLux Microwave broke after only 7 years of use. But I am much happier with my new GE Profile Microwave. It has all the bells and whistles I need, plus the latch and construction seem to be much better than my old unit. I am looking forward to many years of use. And I LOVE the dials and screen on the bottom!

We upgraded to the full line of Profile Slate appliances and love all of them. Having the microwave controls at the bottom is a great design feature. I don't know why all microwaves aren't designed like this. Especially ones made to be mounted over the range. The interior is huge and accommodates our large square dinner plates where our old one wouldn't even come close.

Better than I thought

We bought this along with the matching Profile dual-fuel range and have not been disappointed with either.
We at first thought having an over-the-range microwave would be a huge obstruction compared to just a vent fan/light but this has turned out not to be a problem.
We love how the two "talk to each other" with Chef Connect. We have them set so that the cooktop light under the microwave comes on any time a burner is used on the range. You can also have the vent fan turned on the same way but we chose not to.

I purchased this in December 2015 to replace my 15 year old microwave. Very happy with it. Only thing I wish it had is an automatic bacon and rice cook option. Cooks great!!
