Love features.

I love the features in this product, but the door is very big. On the older version of the profile microwave the control panel was not on door, it was off to the side.

Since I have only had this microwave for a few days, I am unable to offer a comprehensive evaluation. The only negative that I have experienced thus far is lack of appropriate illumination. For the price of this item, it would seem to be a minor improvement to provide better lighting in the interior while in operation and on the control panel. There issues have been addressed in previous reviews.

this microwave is very spacious on the inside. It is also very user friendly and quiet when being used. We feel we chose the right microwave and have no regrets with this choice.

A microwave is a microwave... but this finish looks great above the range with a similar finish. Good settings, easy to learn/operate. Actually quite easy to install -- about 30 minutes on my own.

This microwave replaced an older model and fit into the cabinets without alteration even with the much larger interior space. The unit is very quiet and looks great.

After much research I decided on the GE brand in the slate color. Am very happy! I also opted for the larger microwave with the controls along the bottom and the handle integrated into the side of the door. Really nice and very easy to use. Plus it leaves room for a larger window to the inside. I really like the interior size as it is much bigger than the standard microwave AND it does not have a wire shelf. I never use the wire shelf and it always ends up roaming around the kitchen wasting space. Very smart of GE! Am very happy with my purchase.
