GE Over The Range Microwave

The cooking controls are along the bottom of unit - giving unit a sleek modern look. The interior is darker, which is OK. BUT the INTERIOR LIGHTING is VERY, VERY LIMITED. Though there's an inside light, YOU CAN"T SEE FOOD COOKING - can't tell if food is spilling over, etc. Controls not intuitive and there's no 'manual' to learn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way this microwave fits in my cupboard space, it really goes with my kitchen's other appliances. The features are very user friendly. The oven is spacious inside. The only reason I didn't give it a five is the microwave plate has a lip on it and I am short, so when I was putting a dish in the microwave it caugt on the lip and chipped it. Great microwave overall.
