Not a quality Microwave, especially given price!

Light bulbs below microwave have gone out multiple times, and lightbulb housing cracks when you try to take them out. Door sensor broke shorting out the microwave and had to be replaced. Microwave door hangs off balance. Microwave has now started making a loud buzzing noise when in use

Horrible microwave

Not a fan of this model. It has needed repairs 3 times in about 5 years. The first time within 2 years.

Big looks - That's all

Bought one when our other OTC microwave gave out. It DOES actually work.
Gotcha's - Door is the full width of the unit but the COOK area is the standard size. Door is open and it takes half of the kitchen. (Ouch, the door is in the way.)
Installation is the same size as the unit we replaced but top to bottom is smaller. Additional back-splash tile work was needed to cover the area that now shows. Also, that makes the food to be "nuked" have to be lifted in and (the hot food) higher to be removed. This is from the 4' 10" woman who finds it hard to lift heavy food that high.
The automatic Fan/vent turns on at times - which is different from the internal fan vent that does turn on - and the automatic fan does NOT turn off with the button. It is automatic and it is LOUD.
It's as though a new, inexperienced designer (probably 6' 5" tall) designed something "new" or never had to try and see if it works.

As far as the automatic fan feature, the fan helps protect the electronic components as well as help the cooking area get rid of excess heat. The built-in thermostat automatically turns the vent fan on if the appliance is too hot and will not turn off until the microwave is cool again. You will not be able to turn the vent fan off manually during this time.

Beautiful but have slight problem

Product is beautiful and easy use, Fan are strong. The front charcoal filter is difficult to installed. Another problem is screw hole was misalign with bulb cover plate results in cover plate sitting on the guided groove. I need to drill a bigger hole for the cover plate to sit nicely.

control pads are hard to push

I brought this start of the yr as our previous one didn't work. Product looks good in display. After installation noticed that the dark interior and a very dim light inside makes it hard to look the food inside. Eg cooking macaroni in water for mc n cheese and it spills inside

Overall a good microwave. I like having the control panel at the bottom of the door instead of on the side. I also like the 1050 watts. The only thing I don't like so much is the fact it's hard to see the food inside and that the turntable is moving. I also wish it would have the night light so you could program it for on at night and off in the morning like my older GE Profile microwave did.
I would recommend this to a friend!
