2.1 CU. FT. OVER-THE-RANGE SENSOR MICROWAVE OVEN

We've only had this new GE in operations for about a week it is the quietest Microwave, so far it works great but it's missing some of the key options our other GE had the night light was really convenient. Setting the clock has no AM PM and this is what turn the night light on when it got dark. Other than that we're extremely happy so far will let you know in about a year how it held up to our regular use of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Stylish - Easy To Use - no auto nite light

I learned my lesson on replacing a microwave with this one. Please check this one out before you buy and also make note of the features you currently like on your microwave. That was my lesson. Our previous GE microwave had two features that this one doesn't - a melt feature and an auto nite light. This one doesn't have those two features. For the price, I don't understand why they left out the auto nite light. Also, the inside is grey which makes it hard to keep an eye on your food inside. As far as performance goes, I don't have any complaints

Quiet and Sleek

The microwave is quiet and easy to use. Heats food quickly. Sleek exterior for easy cleaning and no handle.

I bought this microwave and have had nothing but issues. I would NOT buy this microwave.
When it arrived at my house, the control panel was very uneven. It was "bubbled" in several places.
They have replaced the door twice but each time this "bubbling" issue is still present.
In addition to the "bubbling" issue, the microwave stopped working which required another visit from a GE technician to get is working.
Despite the known "bubbling" issue, GE refuses to allow me to exchange because they say this is a cosmetic issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Liking the menu

Now that I have got used to the new menu, at the bottom on the display rather than the sides, I really like this layout. It does take some thought, however, to figure out how to reheat accurately. It seems with coffee, for instance, that I hit the 2 minute button, then have to decrease the power to 80 %, and that's a little awkward, I tried reheat, soup, but that did not work out. I also like the slate finish, which is easy to clean, stylish, and goes with my stainless range.

Remodeled my kitchen and purchased this microwave. It looks great, but the door (which is the size of the whole front of the oven) opens awkwardly in the right-hand corner where it is installed....needs more right-side space to be comfortably used. Also, don't like that I have to push the touch pad at least 4 times to enter a cooktime if it isn't 30 seconds, one, two, three, four, or five minutes, which are one-touch. And, it's hard to see the food cooking inside. And besides that, you have to course through all the exhaust fan levels to shut it off once you put it on. Otherwise, it works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have been using this microwave for a little over 3 months in my new home. It seems to take a little longer than the previous GE microwave oven in my previous home. This one does a great job with popcorn.
