Confusing auto sense

I have had a GE dishwasher since we built our house 8 years ago and only had to replace due to a power surge. The AutoSense option never shut off. It ran for hours and hours. Finally I shut it off myself. The light wash runs longer than the normal wash, which seems odd to me as well. All, in all, it washes well and I like the dual placement for the utensils.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bottom tray is too short because of the utensil basket on the front. Plates hit one another because of this.

In Love!

This is the first time I've ever owned a brand new dishwasher and I couldn't be more pleased. I can fit almost any of my dishwasher safe cookware/bakeware/mixing bowls/dishes in this machine and they come out clean every time! The space available is put to great use by putting the silverware holder on the door and spots for larger utensils on top of the cup holders in the top rack. We have a large family and needed a dishwasher that would keep up, not choke when someone didn't rinse a plate (the built in food disposal is AWESOME!), have options for small/light/large/heavy loads and avoid breaking the bank. This machine fits the bill perfectly!
