I bought this 10 months ago. Too late to take it back. Not to late to take to the dump!
It runs for 3 hours and still the dishes don't come clean. The slightest amount of food left on the dish will still be there THREE HOURS later when it finally finishes!! JUNK The Silverware basket is too small and not enough dividers. If you mount it on the door the silverware will not come clean either. It is junk.

My GE dishwasher lasted 3 monthes,

0I'm still waiting for it to get fixed. I went to use it and there was no power in it . I checked the outlet and there was power there. The serviceman came out and looked at it and said something was wrong with the power. Still waiting for it to be fixed. I bought the dishwasher in July.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher was recommended by the sales clerk. He was very informative and was right. Its very quiet and scrubs the dishes to shine. my other dishwasher left white stuff on my plastic plates, this one makes them look close to new. and too off the white stuff. It also has a delay feature, which I use often.

I have had this about 3 months and it has done a great job for the price of the machine. Fairly quiet and lots of available settings compared to other models in the price point.

Some good features, some poorly designed

It is quiet. Do like the silverware basket on the door. But, there are only 2 wash arms instead of 3 as were on my previous other brand DW. The rows of racks on bottom shelf are too widely spaced apart for most of my bowls to stand up, so they fall over. Sides of the bottom rack are not wide enough for small pans. There are also no clips on the top shelf to secure lids, etc. The fold down racks on top are too short to hold small bowls securely, so the bowls fall off. Glasses and bowls on the top shelf tend to tip over because of the poor angles of the rack dividers. I'm really not satisfied at all with this dishwasher and a few times some of the dishes did not get completely clean. It does play a little tune when finished which is cute. Overall, I would say this is a pretty DW but is poorly designed to be practical and am disappointed in this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
