SO Quiet I had to get close to it to hear it run!

We bought this dishwasher a few short months ago. I have waited to review it to be sure I loved it. I LOVE IT! So quiet... we have an open room design between living room, dining room, and kitchen. When we watch tv, we no longer have to blast the sound to escape the noise from the dishwasher. It gets the dishes, pots and pans and silverware very clean. Thank you GE!

The look of this dishwasher is nice and clean! It runs quietly and cleans very well. I am so happy to have a working dishwasher again and this one was definitely worth the wait!

I've had this dishwasher a year and a half; replacing a dishwasher I had for 20 years but was too noisy. It takes two hours for the cycle to run in this dishwasher and the dishes usually aren't dry so I leave the door open so they can air dry before putting them away. Most of the dishes are not even clean so I have to hand wash or run them through again. They don't feel clean at all. The soap dispenser doesn't always open and if it opens the soap is stuck to the door. The only good thing I can say about this dishwasher is that it is quiet. I'm going to have to replace it. It just does not work right. DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find it difficult to load this washer properly (compared to my previous one. Large
pots, pans and casserole dishes do not fit in the spaces provided. Just not happy with this dishwasher.
