This is the best dishwasher I've owned. It's large, holds a lot of dishes, and it gets them all CLEAN.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have only had it for a couple of weeks but seems to work as it should. It's not very loud and the dishes are clean

I have been a fan of GE for a number of years, so it was only natural for us to use GE when we had our house built

I've really enjoyed this dishwasher it has performed up to my expectations. It does an excellent job with cleaning the dishes, no more pre-scrubbing I literally set the cycle on Autosense and walk away. The extra features including alerting me once the dishes are dry and, food disposal are great too!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Soap dispenser does not work, heated drying is poo

I received this to replace a 1979 Kenmore dishwasher - the only thing wrong with it was the soap dish did not open. Was excited for a new unit, but found that the soap dispenser on this brand new dishwasher also does not open approximately one quarter of the time. Also, heated dry leaves the dishes as dry as my 1979 Kenmore did without using heated dry.

Very Quiet

We've had our dishwasher about 2 months and it works great. At 52 decibels it is much quieter than our last one at 55 decibels. I have found some spoons and forks that did not clean completely but usually things are clean. I don't like the silverware being attached to the front of the rack; the door closes against it and it seems like it takes longer to dry that way. Even after overnight the silverware container itself was still wet. Otherwise it seems to be working fine.

Not great

The dishwasher will clean ok on normal setting but on light the soap does not dissolve and there are soap deposits on the silverware. When in Heavy mode the cycle goes on for hours & hours. Sometimes even in normal mode the soap does not dispense properly & dissolve. There is nothing to indicate how far along the cleaning is or how soon it will finish. I have had the unit for about 2 months.

Improvements needed

Likes: Did a good job cleaning. Controls easy to use. Dislikes: The rinse chamber is hard to fill and difficult to see when it needs refilled. Poor design for washing standard glasses. Glasses must be placed over tines or they will fall over when closing the door. I had one glass fall out of the top rack and broke. Inside color could be brighter.
