The dishes come out sparkling clean. It's very quiet and the best dishwasher I have ever owned.

OK for dishes....not good with pots/pans

Dishwasher does a nice job on glasses, plates, etc. but don't try and put any pots or pans in without first scrubbing them completely clean. They will come out looking exactly the same as when you put them in! Also the bottom rack falls off the tracks every time you pull it out to load something in it. You have to lift it up to put it back on track.....very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are moving and needed to replace a broken unit. This one is working very well and it's nice to not have "dishpan hands"!

Dishwasher has a lot of room/compartments for those large clean-ups. Cycle times are adequate. Unit was easy to install and runs quite.

I don't like:
1. Full-length detachable wine glass holders. Too big, flimsy and block too much space on the top shelf. Half-length on older models was a better idea.
2. Front flatware holder. Reduces depth of lower shelf and now not enough depth for 2 rows of dinner plates. Side mounting on older models allowed more depth for dinner plates.
But those are nits.
To be honest, I needed color Bisque, and there are almost none available from other mfgrs. Only white, black and stainless steel in the showroom.
What ever happened to avocado and cherry appliance colors ???

Replacing old GE with new GE

We bought this Dishwasher one month ago and have not been impressed. In the first month we have had the door leak twice; which turned out to be from loading a large dinner plate in the rear lower rack that flexed the from door just enough to leak. We also had problems with silverware loading, which is on the front of the lower rack; some butter knives prevented the soap try from opening. We are also less than impressed with the drying function. There are always puddles of water on the glasses, even the next day after running the machine. We do like the look and install of the unit, however, our 15-year-old base model GE dishwasher had none of these design flaws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
