This dishwasher is a replacement for the Tappan dishwasher I had. The new GE is not made as well as my Tappan in my opinion. It seems that the material is more light weight than my Tappan. But if the GE will last as long as my other dishwasher I will be satisified. I am going to give my old dishwasher (that is still working) to a family that needs a working dishwasher.

We like it much better than our previous super expensive model.
