One issue after another for the past two years. We are now up to the part where the dishes don't dry in the dishwasher. Saving up for a different brand.

leaked right from the start!

From the first time we used it, it leaked like a sieve thru the front door gasket.
Poor design, flooded the whole kitchen before we discovered it

works great for a year or two then doesn’t

This dishwasher was brand new when I purchased my home in November 2017. I only run a dishwasher maybe once or twice a week, never overloading or overworked. I used the correct detergent and rinse aid. Then the end of 2019 the machine decided to not start and just beep at me, so I followed the instructions to turn off the power to it. I did and it started working again until January 2020. So, I order a GE latch replacement, installed it and the dishwasher still thinks the door is not closed. I’ve looked for bowing in the top and that is not an issue. Looks like the control panel has gone out. And I’ve already spent money on a latch on a dishwasher less than 3 years old! So disappointed in this machine. I will not spend money to have a technician out to replace this panel, it will cost as much as to replace this dishwasher. I can say this, I will not be buying another GE dishwasher because of this experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible dishwasher!

We got this a few years ago. The racks are rusted out. Parts of the rack break off and get caught in the drain. Heating element is shot. We can't dry dishes. They drip dry and lay the dishes out on a drying rack. Very disappointed in the quality. Easy to use but the quality is TERRIBLE. We've had GE products for years for major appliances but the dishwasher is HORRIBLE. Doesn't drain.

Constant repairs, Door switch, control board

This machine has been Nothing but trouble since new...door switch, user interface board, control board, some multiple times. At one time GE was a reliable name, now...all junk! I'm done with GE. Now the endless repair bills add up to more than the machine cost new.
Also, it was advertised as quiet, but it is nosier than any of the last three dishwashers we've owned.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE!!! I would give it zero stars if that option was offered. We have not had it 3 years and it has stopped working 3 times and cost us over 300.00 and has stopped working again. Have had GE products in the last with no trouble. Now we are going to have to buy an new dishwasher because we can’t keep throwing money into a pit. So disappointed.

Nice unit but

Have had the dishwasher a little over a year. Has washed perfectly every time. Unfortunately the racks have started to rust to the point they won’t hold dishes. Such a shame as it is a nice looking unit and quiet but the racks are sub par for sure
