Not a quiet as I was told

I have only run this once...I was told it was "as quiet as a laptop running" And it is very loud! It even has an annoying whine to it. Not very happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really nice appliance

This dishwasher was bought as a gift. It installed quickly with only one minor issue which was resolved by GE, almost immediately. It is easy to operate and very quiet. So far, I'm quite happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishes need pre-rinsed

If the dishes in the dishwasher are left overnight, they wont come off the next morning when the machine is run. Seems a bit underpowered.

Super Quiet

This is my first dishwasher and it works great. Gets all dishes clean - mostly with no pre-washing/rinsing and is super quiet - cannot usually even hear that it is on. Have only owned it for a couple of months - so not sure what the long run will bring yet.

Things I don't like

I bought this about one month ago. It does not drain out all of the water and some time the water does not look like rinse water but cloudy with soap. I'm sure there is reason why the inside of the tub is gray but that limits the visibility of what is inside the dishwasher. The lower rack does not hold the plates up but lets them fall over against the other plates.
It is quiet which is good.
