Nice upgrade...

This dishwasher,by far, is a VERY nice upgrade in comparison to the not so well constructed dishwasher I had previously. EASY functionality which I appreciate and so far it cleans my dishes better than I expected.
If it's near a bedroom (considering those homes built with open floor plan on first floor) the sound of the turn/water push can be a bit noisy (just being honest).
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a dishwasher....

I bought this dishwasher a couple months ago, I was hard pressed to find one that matched my other appliances, but was happy that I was able to find a GE one because it's name I know - however it has turned out to be the worse dishwasher I ever owned (& I've owned a few). The dishes are more wet when the cycle is over that before I put them in the machine - this is with the Heated Dry cycle activated. Now we notice that after a day or so the inside reeks ~ old stale water smell, we have never had this problem with a dishwasher. The bottom rack is constantly getting stuck causing dished to shift, even breaking/cracking some. The only things I can say is that my dishes are clean when it is done - but the fact that we have to hand-dry each one kind of defeats the point of a dishwasher for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
