I've always liked GE products, but am disappointed with this model. Using the "normal" cycle, I've had to re-wash several items twice to get clean. My old portable I had for 13 years was still working fine and I donated it to a local hospice store. I remodeled my kitchen and chose this built in model at a low/mid-level price, as I plan to sell this house. I won't buy this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice features, sharp looking, not too loud. Silverware baskets could secure better and the wash cycles are long.

Purchased because of the beautiful color. Pleased with quietness and it does a great job cleaning. Some of my silverware doesn't fit into groves, but sections fold up to accommodate this.
