Been using this dishwasher for a couple of months now. So far, it has met all our expectations. Be advised, if you use the sanitize and drying function, it will run 3+ hours.

Not as noisy as our last GE

I have using the dishwasher for about two months and am satisfied with it's performance. I had to get used to new loading patterns because the racks are different. I don't believe that I can put as much in with the new rack pattern.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This model GE dishwasher did not perform as well as my previous Profile dishwasher.

Replacement for like model

The dishwasher does a good to very good job of cleaning. We use the dishwasher about 12 to 14 times a week. The only issue we have discovered is you cannot put large utensils in the middle section of the silverware tray as it can interfere with the soap pellet discharging properly. I purchased this model again even thou the previous one failed in 19 months. It leaked after starting to make loud vibration noise at about 13 months. I pulled out the dishwasher when it started to make loud vibration noises and checked the discharge pump for obstructions. I found nothing and the applicance shop said the discharge motor was working properly. I reinstalled the diswasher and put some packing material under the pump assembly and the floor. The annoying vibration only occured for several minutes during the initial portion of the cycle. So why did we buy a second one if the first failed in 19 months. First it cleans very good compared to several diswashers I have before. Second dishwasher racks vary by brand and model and we have already invested the time in how to load the dishwasher given our household dishes and did not want to figure the best way with a different rack structure. Third the water connection did not have to be changed to fit a different brand. This model uses a hose time connection which delayed installation several hours with the first dishwasher as it is different than other brands I have had. I have a high end stainless steel model that lasted a year. It did dry well and had to have control panel replacement under warranty which lasted 6 weeks, after with the repair shop said I would have pay up front and apply for a refund from if it turned out to be their problem. I owned a medium priced dishwasher previous to the first GE and it started leaking around the door seal after 15 months, which longer used until it just got really bad. So if you really think you are going to buy a dishwasher that used hard like we do and have it last years think again. You can buy this dishwasher for one third the cost of a real high end dishwasher. A the minimun it is half the cost of the recomended one s in Consumers Reports. Oh and by the way all the high end dishwasher recomended by CR had recalls on them. By the way I load and unload the dishwasher on an equal basis wth my spouse as well as do the installation including plumbing and electrical. So when someone says they have had a dishwasher for 6 to 7 years asked how often they use it. Using it 2 to 3 time a week is casual use in my opinion and lots of people these days who eat out all the time use their 4 to 5 time a month. Good luck you will need it.

The dishwasher worked only once, and then stopped draining. Technician is coming (two weeks later) to fix or replace. So far, not impressed!
