I had ordered another GE dishwasher but when it was delivered it was damaged and the store manager suggested this one. We have been pleased with it, the only thing much different is that the inner tube is smaller and does not hold as many dishes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is PLASTIC

I have had GE products for the past 7 years in VA and I was pleased with my GE dishwasher there. We just had a house built and went with the Standard Pkg. This was advertised as an "Executive Standard Appliance Package - Professional". It is PLASTIC! It is small and it takes forever to go through the normal cycle. After having dishes come out wet, I chose the heating cycle and they still came out wet. My items, even though I rinse them beforehand, do not all come out clean. We need to check items before we put them away. It is a small dishwasher. My older one held so much more. The silverware bin is narrow and I have trouble getting it out. I have had the bottom rack come out while trying to take the silverware out. I hate this dishwasher and do not use it. I'd rather wash my dishes by hand. My husband still uses it but he is not a fan, either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dishwasher after my old one died. This one is a great value and is quiet. The thing I like most is the removable silver ware basket and stemware holders. Great product at an great price.
