Quiet and efficient

Effectively washes the dishes but I am not fond of the utensil holders, liked our old one better. My wife never is sure how much rinsing agent to put in...it seems bottomless. We like how quiet it runs.

Not the best washer I've had

Bought this about a year ago. It never really cleans well unless on the HEAVY setting which means a LONG wash time. And will only really clean if dishes are pre washed. Waste of water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few months ago, and am so unhappy that I did! Door latch sensor went bad 2 months after installing. Had to buy the part online and install myself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has a few bells and whistles, cleans the dishes, however takes a very long time...Yup conserves on water but running for almost 2 hours I wonder how much electric it uses

So quiet!

I "re did" my kitchen, replacing the appliances as well. I picked the G. E.. dishwasher and I just love it....mostly because it is so quiet...you can just barely hear it. My dishes come out sparkling. Great appliance! Great choice As I am nearly 80 years old, it will be the last dishwasher I will ever buy, it will last as long as I do!

VERY noisy!!

This dishwasher was installed in our new home. We didn't choose it. This particular model (GDF520PFJWW) is very noisy, runs for over 3 hours, and there is nothing the user can do to lessen the noise or shorten the cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
