Although fairly new, this dishwasher is a lot quieter than our last dishwasher and it cleans the dishes very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Less than expected

Bought on line and didn't realize how much smaller it was than the GE machine it was replacing after 15 years. Don't like the fact that the back set of dish holders is slanted, making it suitable only for dinner plates. Also the uneven size of the silverware container is awkward, and the drainage slots wider than on my older model. I load utensils handle side down, and some items slip through the bottom. The length of time the extra wash features seem excessive, and once I stop the machine before it finishes using heat to dry the dishes ,even by turning off the machine at the power source for several days, it then continues through that heat cycle, rather than starting the next load from the start. I'll certainly share my issues with this machine with anyone buying another dishwasher, regardless of brand

First, your model has both an Adjustable Upper Rack and a Wash Your Way Customizable Rack. Please take a look in the use and care guide, starting on page 11, in our link, below:

Here you will find loading tips and details on how to adjust the racks to your liking. There are also illustrations of different ways you can load the dishes for optimum performance.
Next, although the cycle times are longer on our new models, their internal design makes them much more energy and water efficient than our older units. The approximate operating cost for your model is only $32 per year, as shown on your energy guide, below:

Finally, if you would like to stop and cancel the cycle, please be sure to press and hold the Start pad for three seconds. It may take a minute or two for the timer to electronically advance to the end of the cycle. Leave the door closed with the door latched until you no longer hear any sounds. This will prevent the cycle from continuing.

Gets the job done

We needed to replace our bisque colored dishwasher and wanted the same color. This unit was available in bisque. It works great. Simple and no issues. Quiet running as well.

Do Not Buy

Seals are leaking after a month, puddles on the floor from water running down the sides. How do seals fail after a month of use? GE will send someone to verify my issue maybe in a week??? I want to pull it out and return it. Will never be happy with this DW.

Great dishwasher

My 2nd GE dishwasher, 1st one lasted over 12 years. Hope this one will be as good. New washer fit perfectly and actually has move interior room than previous washer. Have had washer for approx. 1 month and no issues.

Adjustable top rack, removable silverware rack(s),

This GE Dishwasher has an adjustable top rack, removable silverware rack(s), and best of all quiet operation and the dishes come out clean with the new advanced cleaning system!! Loved it so much I bought a second one for a rental house. One replaced a 10 year old GE and the other replaced a 26 year old GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!
