Racks Rust
on June 20, 2021
Posted by: TW32
We’ve had this dishwasher for almost four years. We’ve had to buy two bottom racks because they rust. Very disappointing.

Hi there, we couldn't be more sorry to see that your lower rack is rusting and that you've already had it replaced before. This is never what we want to see from our consumers so we can only imagine how frustrating this is.
We'll be sure to pass your comments along to our team for further consideration and we're wishing you the best.

The DW runs good, but I’m having issues with the digital front display. None of the buttons work now, so I can not start it anymore. And I e followed all troubleshooting suggestions. Still doesn’t work. So for now I would not recommend this produt to anyone.

Hello and thanks so much for being part of the GEA family. We apologize for the trouble you are having with the control panel and know it must be aggravating. Did not last.

Very disappointed, this came with our new build home 2018 and barely lasted 4 years. Racks started rusting after first year and it doesn't work at all now. I did all the "troubleshooting" possible and it just wont start. My neighbors have also had issues with theirs and had to replace, now I will replace with a non ge washer. Repairs are expensive, I've had to have every appliance in the house, all new in 2018, all GE, repaired over 4 years. never another ge product again, it has been a constant and expensive pain in the neck and wallet.

Complete trash - Buyer BEWARE!

We built a new home less than 4 years ago. This is the unit we had installed. It is less than 4 years old and for at least a year, it would lose power. We would have to unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it back in and hope it comes back on. Well, today it won't come back on at all. It's dead.

Electrical Issues
on August 21, 2022

The machine does a good job if you can keep it running. Mother board has a short in the panel. I have to disconnect the electrical power source and make the machine reset and it will run about 5 cycles and here we go again.

dishwasher is less than three years old and the control panel needs replacing. I am single, so I run the dishwasher at most 2-3 times a month. The control panel has gone out and the cost of parts and labor are more than the dishwasher. After doing research on this particular product, I see that this is a common complaint! I will never purchase another GE product, and I advise you to do the same.

Need a Recall
on December 29, 2023

This dishwasher is 3 years old. One month ago, it started acting unusual as it would beep when not in use. The unit completely lost power, I thought throwing the breaker was the fix however 3 days later it completed died. I suspect a faulty control panel due to the way it was acting. Connections underneath and power cord is good. Horrible product, I don't abuse appliances and take good care. GE, where is your recall?

Not a good machine

This dishwasher is horrible! The door sensor went bad 3 times within 2 years, and I barely use it. I would not recommend this brand to anyone with a clear conscious. I hate writing negative reviews, but if you, GE want to be competitive in the appliance space, you need to know the truth and resolve your issues.
