Filter should be cleaned regularly. My one gripe is the racks should be nylon coated in order to last more than 3 or 4 years b4 rusting. I found this to be one of the biggest complaints. You would think GE would fix it.

Poor soap dispenser

I have owned 4 dishwashers in my life, this is number 5 and it is the worst one ever. I have tried to get the dispenser door to work right and no matter what I try nothing works. It has a sliding door and it has never opened during a wash cycle since I have owned it. No videos or faqs cover this issue.

Four years and leaking

We’ve had this dishwasher for almost four years and both the door gasket and now the bottom gasket need replacing because of leaks. I’ve never had a dishwasher that needed this kind of maintenance so soon, would definitely not purchase again.

Horrible dish rack

We bought a new house so we were excited to have new appliances. Little did we know after 1 1/2 years we would need to replace the dish rack on the top and bottom. Almost every piece is rusted off at some point. Definitely think they should last longer than that. We also have a soft water system.

Cheap Dishwasher that you should stay away from

This was included in a new house purchase. I have owned this for 3 years now and this is the 2nd time I have had the bottom rack rust out. Sadly the racks only seem to last 1-2 years. You would expect better quality from a brand like GE
