Dish rack rusted out

No wonder it’s no longer made. Rack rusted through in no time. This came with the house we purchased. I tried to repair it and it rusted through again. Now I can’t find a replacement rack. Very aggravating.

Malfunctioning, Start button - flashing, beeping

Awful dishwasher! Lasted less than 4 years. Start button malfunctioned - flashing and beeping. Tried resetting and cutting power. Working for a few weeks, then malfunctioned again and I could not reset. Replaced the door latch part but that did not help. Will never buy another GE dishwasher.

Inferior Cleaning

This machine is very attractive and matches our other slate appliance, but it’s not cleaning dishes as well as the 70s model it replaced. We’ve only tried lightly soiled dishes thus far. I guess we’ll now become one of those families who wash their dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Worst Dishwasher Possible

In four years, bottom rack has rusted out twice, top rack has rusted out once, and now the cycle runs all night and into the morning. No simple way to stop the cycle. Open the door, it pauses, but close it and it starts grinding away again. Cancel button no good.

Mediocre dishwasher

Overall, a mediocre appliance that I would not select again. Fairly good on noise level but does not thoroughly dry dishes and leaves a soapy residue with most runnings.

Stopped working less than 2 years

Purchased this GE dishwasher along with a GE microwave and GE stove less than 2 years ago. The dishwasher just stopped working. I'm a single guy that doesn't have lots of dishes, but like the convenience of not having to wash by hand. This product was very disappointing. All lights come on, just no action to wash the dishes. Maybe the electrical board. To have this serviced, it would be cheaper to buy a new one. Great timing to breakdown, just after the warranty expires. No more GE appliances for me.

Worst quality racks

Racks get easily rusted and they even break Within 5 months of use most of them rusted and broke Soap holder cup doesn’t withstand Most of the times it leaks I will never recommend it to anyone
