Did not last

Worked fine for 4 years but recently suffered a broken latch at the same time the electronic board went out.Unfortunately, not worth the cost of repairing. It seems no appliances are made to last anymore.

Poor wash

Had since new and never worked well. Cups in the corners still have detergent inside when finished. Door stopped sealing properly after a year or so and would not stay aligned

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know how things are going. We're sorry to hear that your dishwasher has not been working well. We understand how much of a headache this must be, and would like to offer some helpful information.
To troubleshoot, reposition the dishes, so the water from the lower spray arm can flush the detergent cup. Reposition the tall utensils or heavy silverware that may be keeping the dispenser cup door from opening. This will also help with closing the dishwasher.
We hope this helps, and if we can help in the future, please let us know. We are more than happy to.
All the best,
Kianna@GEA

Dishwasher needs reboot
on March 24, 2022

Dishwasher needs circuit breaker reset after 4 or 5 loads. Circuit breaker is not tripped but unit seems to need a reboot. Dishwasher played tune and had light on at first but then both of those quit.

Worst dishwasher ever!!!!

This is garbage. GE KNOWS ITS GARBAGE. this machine should be recalled. All the parts have one by one been breaking and I’ve had this MAYBE five years. I keep it clean and take good care of it and it didn’t even matter. It almost caught fire. I had to replace a pump on the bottom and it worked another month or so. And the control panel is messed up and the reviews say the replacement part is just as much junk as the original. It has been randomly beeping EVERY HOUR for about 3 months. Now today it has decided to beep continuously like the door has opened during a cycle. If I could replace the control panel and get it to work a few more years it would be worth it but considering every part it’s breaking very quickly it won’t be. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.

No more GE products
on April 18, 2022

Do you honestly think I can be happy with a dishwasher that lasts only 5 years then won't turn on? No more GE. The original GE products in this condo lasted about 40 years. Worse part is I have to find this color as I had bought all the appliances in it.

LEAKING…RUINED CABINET NEXT TO
on May 13, 2022

Although our dishwasher still functions.it has leaKS. Occasionally there would be water in front on the floor after running it…however we did not know it was leaking into the cabinet which had particle board flooring and shelves….they completely ruined them in the cabinet. We think there is a leak in the seal of the washer…only 4-5 years old and we’ll need to replace…how do we find out if we have a warranty? Does this sound reasonable to fix.

We bought our home and this was a added a year prior (sellers left all the documents) dishwasher worked for 3 months. Had to reset between every wash for the past month. It’s not flipping any circuits either. Now the dishwasher won’t power on at all and it will not reset.

Oh no!
This is not the kind of experience we want to hear about. We're truly sorry to hear about your dishwasher not working and understand how infuriating that can be. Please take a look at this support article about your dishwasher not powering.
