Silverware tray is a problem

We have had this model for two weeks, and have noticed that the soap tends to land in the silverware tray and not dissolve. We have had several loads of dishes that didn't get clean, and had a big glob of dishwashing goop laying under the dispenser. Finally we moved the silverware tray inside the bottom rack, off to the side, and now it works fine. Whoever designed this layout obviously didn't try it with a load of dirty dishes and silverware.

Doesn't clean dishes

We moved into a new home where this was the dishwasher the builder had installed. While I had my suspicions on the quality (as I figured the builder would likely install a low quality/cheap appliance) it worked fine for the first 3 weeks. After that point, it doesn't not clean dishes at all. I don't mean, it doesn't clean very well. It literally doesn't clean at all. We had a plumber check the water source and temp and all is fine there. It is just a poor machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Dishwasher ever

I am very pleased with my new GE Dishwasher. Looks nice, runs quietly and left my dishes sparkling clean. Nice and roomy I was even able to put in my large soup pot. Lots of compartments for utensils and knives. And, I even tested it on my nice Chrystal and china; everything came out looking lovely. Thanks GE

Missing the GE soft touch

I find this dishwasher not with the GE soft touch that characterizes GE. The door is hard to open; on the upper rack, the dishes do not dry as well. I am not satisfied with this dishwasher.
