missing my old dishwasher

I miss the bright, white interior of my old dishwasher. Do not like the rather dark, gray interior for loading and unloading. Also do not like the slotted grids for eating utensils; however, in removing them I find the compartments are too roomy and utensils do not stand up straight, but fall to the side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased this week, seems to be just what I wanted for the price. Not a lot of bells and whistles which is GREAT! I just wanted to wash my dishes not be entertained. :0)

cheap design

not the best racks. bowls tend to tip over. the middle arm assembly is flimsy at best. Had nothinbut trouble with door latch sensor and a service call has been scheduled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had severe problems with hard water deposits with our old unit. With this one just set it to autosense and they come out shiny clean!

We bought this after our dishwasher of almost 9 years gave out. Price and availability (in-stock at our local, small-town store) were the main reasons we chose this one, but we have been very pleased with it. It is much quieter than our previous dishwasher, and so far it has done its job well.

We installed it this morning, ran it. I made cookies and stuff just to have to load it and see how it all worked. I am impressed. Even the steam function shocked me a little. (yeah, I opened the door.;) Everything FIT! Big bowls, pans, dishes. and it all came clean. Yah freekin hoo! Oh yeah, it is soo quiet. I forgot it was running and went to check on it. I was feeling like tippy toe happy dancing because I didn't have to turn up anything, say anything twice, or wonder if there was anything going on in the house. LOVE IT!! I will just have to keep my grandbabies from pushing all the new buttons, that would be my only bad thought.

I bought this the other day and have used it 3 or 4 times and still can't believe how quiet it is. I have put dirty pans and dishes and everything comes out clean. I cannot believe all the features you get for the price. I looked at dishwashers that were twice the price that did not have all these features. Great job GE.
