i have always been convinced that for a projection system DLP was the only way to go. I have owned 3 of them. I was very happy with them. However, since owning this unit I have changed my mind. Perhaps a 3 DLP might be as your units, but the cost is prohibitive.

Simple setup and very good quality picture

Before I bought this product I was skeptical how the picture quality will be. But the brightness and sharpness of the picture is very impressive, I generally use only ECO mode which is bright enough to watch videos even with moderate room light.
I am very proud to have it because 2 of my friends bought the same model with in a month.
Only downside of it is, there is no audio out on the projector, so you may need an AV receiver like mine or HDMI to HDMI audio extractor for good audio speakers.

The Fan is so loud!

This is my 2nd projector, and I decided to go cheaper this time, big mistake!! I'm sending this back and buying one in the $1300-1500 price range like I did last time. The fan on this one is so loud, it's too loud and hard to block out. The last one I owned we never heard a fan. You get what you pay for. The picture was fine/good so i'm giving it a fair review. Maybe the fan noise wouldn't bother some people.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first projector. I love the nighttime picture on my 100 inch screen. Wish I could connect to my mini bluetooth speaker.

Considering I just purchased this projector and I never had one before, all I could say is that I would have maybe prefered a black unit and an HDMI cable to be included, instead of the useless CD that only contains the registration tool and a link to the online manual.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Price and Picture

Purchased to replace 10 yr old DLP projector in our theater room that had failed. Less than half the price of a new DLP projector. LCD picture is good. But not as good as DLP was. Our theater room is relatively small. The projector is ceiling mounted. I couldn't quite get the picture to completely fit on the screen. The outer edges are on the black matte screen frame. So we lose some of the picture. Also, had to buy an analog adapter, which was hard to find. All part of the problems, when installing a new component in a 10 year old system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brought this projector in the spring. I used it for putting movies on outside for the kids at the R.V. site. It went over with a bang and the parents keep commenting on how clear is the picture. Great investment for good time gatherings.
