I own 1,3, and now 4. Roku 4 by far surpasses the previous models on every way. The picture quality for 1080p is much, much better than 3 (that was the first thing I said to my wife was picture quality), and as it says
the load times are much faster. If your looking for a player, spend the extra cash and get the Roku 4.

Pluses and Minuses

The good news...the device has a much better wifi receiver than either my chromecaster or my Amazon firestick (same HDMI hub). The others drop the signal once very hour or so while this device does not. More good news, lots of product for streaming...The bad news....once again, no manual so I have no idea what its true capabilities are. I hate having to use a computer to do something that was provided routinely only a decade ago.
