We just bought the Roku about a week ago, and must say its the best decision we have ever made..makes our tv just like if we had dish or direct tv or cable.. Love it.

I bought Roku 4 about 2 weeks ago and so far I love it I had a Roku 3 for many Years and decided to upgrade so I gave It to my sister.

Awesome, except in something jostled the connection path on a high end setup,,your roku hdccp whatever will die. You can still unprotected 4k through your stereo, but it me screws up the operating system too so that it's not recognized properly.
You have no idea how much rental money I waisted wondering why Atmos wasn't working? And both times I thought it was a receiver problem.
I have a onkyo TXnr 1030 system.
Why I thought it was my 1500 recover instead of the 150 roku, I'll never understand.
You keep that in mind and I guess it's pretty great.

remote will not work

I have owned exactly 4 Roku in order of their appearance at stores. First the Roku 1 and finally the Roku 4. I could not get the Roku 4 to work with the remote control that comes with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this unit to pair with my smart TV so I could get the MLB.TV baseball package. I am happy with it. It does MLB.TV and so much more. Only downside for me was signing up for the services I wanted (too many thumb movements).
