BAD REMOTE

I AM STILL TRYING TO GET THE REMOTE TO WORK PROPERLY, IT KEEPS FREEZING AND I HAVE TO PAIR IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. I HAVE MOVED IT 3 DIFFERENT TIMES TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION, AS SUGGESTED BY ROKU. THIS IS MY LAST TRY, IF IT DOESN'T WORK, BACK IT GOES.

Terrible remote

I bought the Roku to replace my apple device because the apple did not have Amazon or Acorn. The Roku does offer more channels, but the remote is awful. The apple remote was easy to use with only one button. The Roku is so confusing; it has way too many buttons. Plus the device is huge!

The Roku 4 delivered a source for our 4k tv

My wife didnt know all the hoopla concerning 4k. We bought a 4k Samsung and she was awed by the picture quality streamed to our UHD tv. She couldnt believe the detail and the depth. Very happy with the design and user ease.

The amount of programming available

Presently, my opinion is incomplete. I am still working my way thru all the programming. If there is an annoyance, it would be finding programs that are free, It seems all the programming that appeals to me is at cost. significantly higher than cable, when I total them. I'm sure its because I do not have a full understanding.

Amazing Picture on 4K

I bought the ROKU 4 to go with my brand new Samsung 4K UHD TV and I'm glad I did. The picture is truly amazing. If you get a high end TV I recommend the upgraded ROKU. In all other ways it is as simple and easy to use as the previous one I had (ROKU 2).

Problems, problems

I have now received the THIRD of three Roku4 players. The first one died after some 63 days, the second died a week ago, and was replaced under warranty. One common characteristic, besides being hot to the touch, is simply that at one point they will not turn on to function: nothing. No indicator light, no signal. Definitely a work in progress. My original Roku2XS worked flawlessly for years as they should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the money

I bought the roku 4 a few weeks ago and worked great for two days. Now it takes up to five minutes to come on.

Problems with 4 K TV

I purchased a new 4k UHD tv so I bought a ROKU4 . Picture is fabulous but when I switch INPUT from stb to ROKU it doesn't recognize the ROKU. I have to turn tv off and back on or unpug the ROKU. I finally switched back my ROKU 3 and have no problems so it was the ROKU 4 I moved the ROKU 4 back to my older HD tv and it didn't work at all. I called tech support and they had me reset the ROKU and I didn't set it up for 4k but HD. It works fine so I'm ok for now but I wish I could have the ROKU 4 work properly on my UHD tv
