I own this for a couple of weeks now, and hoped a update would fix the problem with having to get up and turn it on manually every time. I don't understand having a remote control unit that you can't power the unit on with??? Doesn't make any sense to me!

Hi everybody: For me is the best Just is they can fix the hard reset to delete evrything should be better I try to do a hard reset and on keep few app that no come with roku from factory and Matchtv plus still sayin that I have to detache (unite) the previous account if they fix that will be better but I recommend

I upgraded to the Roku 4 from the Roku 2 and I'm SO happy I did! The 4K makes a big difference!

PROS: VERY FAST, RESPONSIVE AND EASY TO USE..
CONS: HARDWARE GETS HOT AND THE FAN IS A BIT NOISY WHEN USING 4K MAYBE I NEED TO PUT A LAPTOP CHILL MAT OR FAN UNDER THE ROKU 4.

Faster than the speed of light

This is the fastest streamer I've ever used. It's a Roku so you know what you're getting. I don't know about 4K capabilities don't care, I don't think the upgrade justifies the price increase. I would have liked if they had 2 versions, one for 4K and one for everyone else I don't think the upgrade justifies the price increase. But overall I'm very satisfied.

First I want to address the negative reviews about the Roku 4. I have not experienced one single issue raised about noise, fans etc.. The only issue I had was with the unit waking up but that has been since corrected with the latest firmware update.
I would recommend this to a friend!
