First time streamer who is very happy

I read the very positive reviews of the earlier model Roku's and decided to order the Roku 4. After ordering the Roku 4 others began reviews it. They obviously pre-ordered earlier then I did, All the reviews were positive aside from a noisy fan. Frankly I was very concerned because a noisy unit would of been a deal breaker for me. I have been using my Roku4 for a week now and it is whisper quiet. I still do not have a full appreciation for the Roku4's features but I continue to be impressed. My only complaint is I haven't figured out how to immediately shutdown the Roku4.

I bought the roku 4 2 weeks ago. I spent hours trying to connect to wireless and internet. Finally made it. Next morning, my internet would not recognize the roku. Worked for hours with Roku.com and Comcast but never got it to connect. Finally sent it back for a replacement. Hope it does better than the first one. Must have had a bad video card.

My Roku 4

This device works great, my only regret with it is that it is NOT wireless from the Roku unit to the TV. Hence the HDMI cable from the Roku to the TV is visible. There is no room left in my cable run to run it with all the other cables.
Would sure be nice if it was completely wireless.

Perfect device for cord cutters, hopefully the TV networks will begin broadcasting to devices like Roku in real time and cut out the network middle-man once and for all. Looking at you, Fox News...

I had an older ROKU but decided to take advantage of the latest design and features as advertised in the new ROKU-4
