Best 4K Streaming device so far!

I got the Roku for 3 weeks now. Warnings: if you are buying this to take advantage of 4K streaming, make sure you have HDCP 2.2 port on both your TV and Receiver if you use one for audio. Otherwise you are streaming at 1080P based on the programing. It took a little while to set it up but the pictures are beautiful. There are not that many 4K content around. There are no delay with hard wired ethernet. Even the regular 1080i or 1080p looks better than before.

About a month or so ago I bought a roku 3. I liked it so much that I put it in the bedroom and bought the Roku 4 for the tv room !!

We love our Roku device

We can access channels not available on our other streaming devices. We are replacing our other devices with Roku 4's everywhere in our home and giving the other brand devices away. The only drawback we've found is that there are no "off" buttons. It would be nice to be able to shut the device down when it's not in use.

After studying which over the top streaming media hardware to buy I chose the Roku4 a month ago for being channel rich and feature rich while protecting me from the need to replace it next year with the onset of UHD. This beast supports 4K UHD and with the inclusion of Sling's offerings of sports like ESPN it will allow me soon to reconsider my cable bundle. This is a great solution for those also seeking a future proof, beautiful player with an exquisite UI.

Love the ease of hook up

This is our second Roku - we have had one for a couple of years and decided we wanted to get another TV set up that was not already wireless. This is a great product and allows us to watch shows without commercials! Yeah!

I do wish there was some way....any way...to get channels without needing any of the stupid %$^&*!! cable and satellite companies....but hey other than that the ROKU is great!!!

4K what can I say!

So things to watch out for: the new security, hdcp2.2 make sure your TV's HDMI inputs are complaint. Example: your HDMI switch will not work! It must be connected directly to the hdcp 2.2 HDMI input on the TV. Two, 4K uses a lot of bandwidth, 18 Mbps, use a cat 5e or 6 to avoid lag. The wyfi just doesn't cut it. It's 4K what can I say? It looks amazing!
