Best streamer by far!!!!!

I have only had this streaming media player now for a week, but by far it is the easiest to set up and use. I have many videos on my computer and hoping that the Roku 4 would play those. With the Plex player app and a simple download of the Plex media server on the computer, it's the absolute best I could have ever hoped for........ it not only plays the videos but the Plex went and added all the information about each and every movie ......GREAT JOB ROKU AND PLEX!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased 2 Roku4s. First was recalled, the second died after I spent hours signing onto all my streaming accounts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my 4kuhd tv and so far have not been able to set up 4k, needs hdmi Hdcp 2.2. Although I have a new Samsung non of my ports say that. Roku has feature to turn off yet after using the next time I turn on tv the roku keeps taking over. I see no advantage to this model, still debating about returning

Worth the upgrade from a V2

I had 3 Version 2 Roku's including the XS, Stick, and LE. I was very annoyed by the Youtube app and I knew it was time to upgrade.
I looked at the Roku 4 and the new Apple TV. I then decided to get the Roku 4. Not for the 4k, but for the amount of features. Roku gas been excellent on updating their players. Apple I know would make you buy another version a year or so down the line......
In the end I am very happy with my choice. If I didn't have a PC in all my other rooms, I would buy another!

Perfect Solution to dutting cable

Am using two new Roku 4's. Great product - works very well. The problem is with Sling (main reason for using Roku), live Sling channels take too long to load and often go blank. Roku, please help Sling to improve!! Direct Roku channels like HBO and Showtime work perfectly.

Upon deciding to drop satellite and begin streaming TV content, I first ordered an Amazon Fire TV, primarily because of Amazon Prime content. Couldn't get the Fire TV to work properly with my older Panasonic plasma - video stutter and audio drop out. So, I thought I would take a look at the Roku 4. Very pleased with everything! Interface is clean and elegant. Audio is perfect. Nice to be able to use optical. And, while it might be my imagination, I believe overall picture quality is better that anything I have seen on satellite or cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
