Great Device!

I purchased a Roku 4 because of the app support (Vudu, TWC) and ports such as the Optical audio which hardly any other devices even had. I have enjoyed using this device and will love it even more when I receive my 4K tv (Another reason I purchased this device).

Best Roku ever

My Roku 3 is an excellent streaming device but has been replaced with my new Roku 4. A great value for all the features. Now I need a 4k tv to go along with it.

I bought a ROKU 3 about 2 months ago and I just love it. I liked it so much 5hat I bought a ROKU 4 for my bedroom.
There is 1 problem that I have ...I am deaf so I need CC1 (closed caption) and there are alot of channels that are loaded into ROKU that have NO CC1 and that is very discouraging. Hopefully ROKU will take it one step further and require the channels that they offer to HAVE TO HAVE CC1. After all being deaf is hard enough...shouldn't our entertainment be Hard of Hearing friendly?

Great concept

This in theory is a great concept and could save a ton of money on cable IF the apps worked properly. I love everything about this except you have to have cable for certain apps and the sling app freezes A LOT. I love my roku and hopefully these issues will be taken into concededation in the future.

LOVING THE FEATURES AND SELECTIONS

Have has my new Roku 4 for several weeks and just love it. It is hooked up to our primary TV in the Family Room. Also have a Roku 3 in the bedroom which we have had for several years. The model 4 speech recognition feature is a great plus in searching multiple sources for a movie by name. ONE FEATURE I WISH THEY WOULD ADD IS A SIMPLE ON/OFF SWITCH. Mainly as a power saving feature but also allowing the units not to heat up when not in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall it's nice. It was a little hard to navigate at first since it came with no owners manual. A lot of times you have to really search a lot to find programs you want to watch and it's a real disappointed when you find them and you have to pay for them when you can just record them on the DVR.

Too pricy for its worth

Is definitely faster than my older XS version, but i don't think the price tag is justified. And the form factor of the this one is 4x of the previous model. Thinking of switching to Apple TV
