The Roku 4 player is quite an upgrade from the model 3. A very useful remote, and the Wi-Fi streaming has been seamless. A worthy upgrade.

I bought the new unit around 2 weeks ago. The first unit had an overheating problem and would shut down after three or four hours of viewing time. Exchanged the unit with another and it has worked flawlessly. The video loads much faster than the older Roku 3, it might be my imagination but the video seems cleaner and has much less micro-blocking also the audio is crystal clear. There are many areas that I haven't explored. I am to easily distracted with each new feature. Try it you'll like it.
I just wish that all video peripherals would take a queue as to the design and layout of the keyboard input layout and ease of use.

Best TV invention ever!

I previously had the Roku 2 for about 2 years. I recently decided to upgrade and I am glad I did!!! You can see the picture quality is so much better. My favorite things (besides all the apps) is that the Roku 4 actually turns off, you can find the remote with a touch of a button and it has voice command. LOVE IT!!!! I recommend this product to everyone. Get rid of your cable now!!!!

Easy to install, menu-driven connectivity for wi-fi, headphones with remote for quiet-time watching. Lots of free content and it's easy to browse/add chennels of interest. We have 2 Rokus - one in the lounge and another in the basement!
