Pretty great with few drawbacks

I absolutely love the Roku 4! It is faster than the old model I had, and it'll be able to handle 4K resolutions if I get a 4K TV.
The things I don't love are the dedicated remote buttons for services I won't use. They should be customizable at the very least, or ideally not even there. Instead of their being just one button (Home) that can back you out of whatever you're watching with one accidental press, there are now four new ones that back you all the way out past the Home screen and into a whole other channel. When your dog is walking on your bed, it's a whole new disaster now.
The updated Netflix interface is a little less useful than the one on my old model. Too much screen space dedicated to some giant picture for the movie or show your cursor is on, but no real info like episode titles for TV shows is given. Even if the picture was a screengrab from the episode, it'd prove slightly more useful than "Season 4 Episode 15" alone.

I have been adding movies to the Roku Feed thing and am hoping that it is a good way to keep up with things that will come out on streaming somewhere later without having to remember to check for them.

I wanted to upgrade because my roku 2 was too slow and kept freezeing on me then i would had to go to the main menue and back into nextflix to fix it.

Great start to a very good product

I have my Roku 4 connected via ethernet with static routes configured on my router for Google's DNS. Great picture quality and speed (thanks in part to upscaling, and I don't have a 4K TV), and I am expecting the developers out there to improve and tweak the Roku 4's apps over time. Great start to a great product that allows me to stream all of my subscriptions through one reliable hardware source. Best streaming device out there right now, IMO.

What A Great Upgrade !

I love my Roku 3, which has performed flawlessly for 2 years, and this upgrade is fantastic ! Looks like my Roku 3 is destined to a hand-me-down to my daughter.
