As an owner of 6 Roku devices, from a Streaming stick, to 4 Roku 2s in various flavors and a Roku 3, I can honestly say this Roku 4 is a sweet machine. The user interface is snappy, the displays on my 1080p 60" TV seem more crisp and the remote response seems a bit quicker, too. I look forward to using it on a 4K TV in the future! 720p media on my server seems to look better as well...a real plus. When you combine performance like this with all the channels (public AND private), there really isn't any other choice for streaming media to your TV...from internet or local server, this unit is rock solid.

Had appletv very hard to use and only get to use whst thry let you. Roku gives you free roam to use players full potential. Roku 4 Great Buy

Amazingly easy to use with great picture quality. Allows my wife to access her video content much easier than using the apps on bluray player with greater visual quality and better user feature set and controls. This is tech with her seal of approval and that says a lot.

We now need to buy a new receiver/amplifier. Unfortunately the new roku does not support the old style component connections. $$$

This is my fourth Roku device and each one gets better than the last. Like the 4K features and the remote. Can also go directly from the Roku to the sound bar with the optical cable.

A Good 4K Player

Appears to be a stable platform and easy to setup .Many apps are better than the apps on my Samsung UHD . Having trouble getting Dolby Digital on my Samsung UHD speakers. Need to add HDR10 so as to move the player to the excellent category .
