So easy and So entertaining

I received a Roku 4 for Christmas. I had an Apple TV before but since I couldn't access AmazonPrime with it - I found it more frustrating than useful. Roku is easy to use and the global search feature is amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice features

I got this for Christmas and was excited about the product as advertised. However this product does not work as advertised and I might return it.
What I like about it is the user friendliness of the hand control and the way everything is organized and easy to access on the screen.
However one of the main apps I wanted to add SlingTV never would work. I signed up for the free 7 day trial and could watch in my IPhone but the program never worked on my TV so I cancelled the app streaming service that I most wanted to use with the Roku. So now this system is of little use to me and I may very well return it.

Very Slow - Constant Loading!

Very disappointed with our Roku 4 player. We have tried to play a couple of movies. There is almost no storage space in the unit. The movie stops every 5 minutes and plays a couple of minutes of commercials while it loads the next 5 minutes of the movie. VERY annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm basically happy with it, but it doesn't quite hit it out of the park. I'd like it to have better support for media on a drive. Even my old WDTV does better in this account; providing AC3 decoding, where Roku is only a pass-through. And I find the ads pretty offensive - I'd pay to not see them. Also, I'd like to see more settings options - particularly in the look of the interface; the icons are way too large in my opinion - don't be afraid to give your users more customization control - don't try to be Apple...
Please go all the way with making it great; you're almost there, but not quite.

I do not care for the new look of picking movies the old horizontal view is much easier ,the size of print is better
