Incredible little machine

Couldn't believe how easy it was to connect this Roku 4 to my TV. Was prepared for major headache. Takes longer to figure out what to watch! Love being able to stream with internet connect better than that "Fruit" thing and all the breaks. Even with kids out of school for Christmas....no problem watching what I wanted!!! WiFi great!! Haven't figured out what to sign up for totally yet, but Netflix a sure thing and Amazon trial still going on. The other trials are appreciated, since I don't know what they offer.

I missed the telepathic instructions when I opened the package. How can I learn them. It would be nice for written instructions

I have only had this device for a few days but I love it! Set up instructions say simple but I did not find this to be true; however, the tech that helped me with the router parameter settings did a great job and we had it working in a very short time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Greatest way to stream anything!

The Roku 4 is the best way to stream anything by far, even in times of bad Wi-Fi Single strength it's sheer power maintains great quality HD streaming without any buffering and it's simple Remote and user interface is easy enough for anyone to use.

Roku 4 4K is Great Power Off/On Performance Poor

I have been using this device for a few weeks now and while I find the 4K resolution and voice search to be useful. I find the auto off and remote device shut down features less than helpful. The issue for me is not with shutting the device off it is with the amount of time it takes for the device to boot from a power off state.
My television is a Samsung UHD 4K television. Unfortunately when I power the Samsung on the Roku does not boot fast enough for the input signal to be recognized by the Samsung. My advice is to keep the Roku on for the best experience.
