Fast!

I can get a lot of channels on my smart TV, but the Roku is much faster and simpler. I just added PBS and HBOGo. I just wish I could add local TV stations, because I refuse to subscribe to cable TV.

I was introduced to Roku with your Roku XS when content was marginal at best, then I had to have Roku 2 and loved the new interface. Then of course Roku 3 was a must have for the earphones in the remote. Now I am proud owner of Roku 4 and love the Ultra HD which gave me the incentive to go out and buy Ultra HD tv. My only negative comment is I think Roku should send out a replacement button for RDIO button since apparently that business licensing deal fell through. It cheapens the unit by already having an obsolete button on the remote. Please come up with a innovative interface that will make the competion take notice. Yes all of my Roku devices are still working fine in all of our bedrooms. I am a devoted customer for life and have referred many new customers your way. I strongly feel that it isnt much longer till I actually cut the cord, (relationship) with my ISP, Cox since I barely watch it anymore. It is Roku 24/7. Keep up the good work to all of you at Roku.

I have the Roku 3 and love it! When the Roku 4 came out I new I had to have it. So I bought the 4 for my living room TV and moved the 3 into my bedroom.

Bought this as my second roku after Roku 3. Roku 3 was also great and infact am using it in my bedroom with my second TV. Roku 4 has some advantages over Roku 3 for some features and a sleeker design. Overall Roku is the best solution I found after using different other media players including Western Digital players etc. This is the player if you like to play your own media using Plex or if you like watching movies using Netflix or Sling. Roku4 infact has shortcut buttons for Sling and Netflix, that even greater. The device is fast and displays HDMI pure video with no indication that we are indeed watching TV over internet. I would surely suggest to have a really good internet speed to be using it with 1080 HD video. Roku3 and 4 does have ability to wifi directly to your router as well has a physical LAN port for even stable connection. If possible I would recommend using it with a physical LAN connection from your router inrespect to Wifi to remove any issues with such high transfer to video. Wifi works great, however its just that unless the router is able to cope with all this traffic, direct physical LAN cable would be better. Adding channels is pretty easy and can be easily be added after logging to the Roku channel. Channel inventory is quite impressive and among all the other it also has all fav Utube, which gives access to an impressive array of videos as well. I would say Roku has probable the most impressive choice of channels than any other player in the market

This is no bull, if your looking around scratching your head about device like this, STOP!! Just buy a Roku!! Especially 4K lovers. No other device provides this much content, and this easy to use. Don't get locked in the "I'm not all that technical" thought of getting this going. If you can sign on to a wireless internet then you can start enjoying one of these Roku units. I myself waited for the Roku 4K and I haven't been this happy with speedy and clarity of picture sense the whole idea of streaming devices started... Yes, it's really that good and no I don't work for Roku. Just did my homework and Roku passed with a A+.. Thanks for actually making a device that does what it states!!!!

The "Cable" is an anachronism. Having 500 channels you don't watch is hoarding of the most illogical strain. I found myself channel-surfing to find a tolerable choice. TV news is dead. TV series are mind-numbingly stupid. I want to watch what I want when I want. Roku is the streaming tool that has a future. Glad I "evolved..."

So far so good! I have a Roku 3 as well and you can tell the quad-core processor gives it a bit more pep for sure! I haven't had a chance to check out the 4K option as I don't have a 4K TV yet, but I'm hoping I can test that out really soon!
