What a surprise!

Received our Roku as a gift, and was quite surprised. It has corrected a problem with our streaming issues, and we love it! The only problem we have had is the remote - not staying connected to the Roku. That has been frustrating because it has not worked more than once. We haven't even had the Roku for a month yet & it has already started doing that. We did find help on a Roku blog site that helped us out but still feel it shouldn't be doing this so soon.

Faster and better

I bought a Roku 4 to replace my 1st generation Roku 2. I love it! It's faster and runs content more smoothly. It has the same search and channel options I love in Roku, and makes the 4K content easy to find. I am only running 1080p, but it runs my HD great, and has less buffering.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gets stuck all the time!

I bought this just before Christmas. It was $$$ but the additional destitute S and its sleek design had me sold. I've been a fan of the Roku's for a few years now. I have a few currently in different rooms of our home as well as bought them for family members to enjoy. So, it's definitely not my first time at the rodeo for Roku.

The batteries were dead for such a new device
Constantly frozen which causes you to unplug the Roku to reset it. It comes to the point of having to do this 3-4 times everytime it's used. For the price, it's def going to be returned. So, save your coins on this model. The the model before and before that.

I am enjoying my first experience with Roku and bought the version 4 model since my neighbor raved about her Roku 3 model so much. I like the small footprint on my desk and set it on a ceramic tile so it would stay cool during long use. My only complaint is that the HDMI cable is not included in the box. When I tried to buy one via the Roku store on the phone they told me I could only buy one through the internet store. Not wanting to put my credit card on the web, I bought a cable on e-bay that I hoped would work .It did and I finally got it up and running. My suggestion to Roku is to sign up for Pay Pal if the only way to buy from your store is via the internet. Love the machine and wish there were more free stations to choose from. -JM Whiteley

Amazing!

I bought this with Powerline and it works flawlessly. Powerline uses the electrical wiring to provide a Internet connection. With it, I had outstanding speed and zero buffering.

Roku 4 is the best device to stream my favorite shows n movies. I love the pac man n galaga game! I wish it had the family feud game. The only con is that when I try connecting my galaxy s6 edge plus to my roku 4 via bluetooth most of the time it won't connect.
