I bought my Roku TV and Roku box as a Christmas present. I love the remote features. I like the fact that I can use the headset in the remote and walk freely throughout the house and still hear the television. I also like the fact that I can talk to the remote and find actors, their films and their bios. I really like the apps and it is very easy to sign into all of my accounts that are offered on the Roku TV. Having a great time exploring all that my television and box have to offer. I just learned to use my computer without using a HDMI chord. It always is compatible with my phone. The more I use it the more fun it becomes.

Ready to cut the Cable - amazing

We've had an earlier version of Apple TV that has limited channel selections. We bought the Roku4 and we're amazed at all the channels and selection. Love the Voice search and of course my wife Loves that I can use the ear buds - giving her some peace and quiet. Ready to to finally cut the cable. Lisa and Tom Chappel. Houston, PA

Will not automatically turn back on

I bought this unit in Dec 2015. Was excited to get since I also have the Roku 3. I don't really see any difference in this model vs. the Roku 3, with one notable factor. The Roku 4 will automatically power itself down, which is fine, but it will not automatically power back up. I have to manually unplug the unit to power it back on - very frustrating...I've done all the troubleshooting, and it appears to be a manufacturing error.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I only had this about 4 days I like it for the most part but need to list the apps or channels that you have to pay a subscription fee for like Hulu.

Got this for Christmas. Enjoy all the features. Get frustrated that there is no "on/off" switch. I sometimes hit the home button a bunch and wonder if it is working. Also it seems to require more bandwidth then my old smart DVD player did alone. If my daughter is watching tv in her room, our Roku doesn't work!

Just got Roku 4

I bought Roku 4 because it can stream 3D movies. Once installed I discovered it does not have the correct relationship with Vudu to stream 3D movies through Vudu I was told. Very disappointed in that. I was directed to a Playstation 3 that will allow Vudu to streat 3D but at this point cannot do it on Roku. Otherwise excellant product
