Meets performance specs; limitations disappoint

Device works as claimed; however, I'm unable to add the streaming content I actually want. It would be great if users could add the streaming sites they want, rather than be forced to select from streaming sites picked by others.

The Roku 4 is lightning fast. I love the remote find feature as well. My only complaint is that a couple of times when scrolling with the remote it continues to scroll on the screan and won't stop. The buttons are not stuck on the remote, but they continue to scroll until I unplug the machine. Plugging it back in and rebooting it have fixed it both times. I have 2 Roku 3's that have not had this issue.

Excellent media player

I have bought other media players in the past but this one has one of the best user interfaces. I primarily use this for plex. Setup is easy and quick. One of the few media players that can work even when you internet is down. Other like the chromecast and firestick don't function on your internal network when the internet is down. I would purchase another unit.

Fast player ! Better than other I've tried

I bought it last week. I added many channels than I can access through my tv network provider. I added netflix. It works like a charm. The responsivness is better than expected. Setup is easy. The remote is great. Two flaws for me: speech recognition is below average; looking for episodes of tv shows that I can access through paid tv network seems not tobe working. It propose me to buy them but if I go to the good channel I can in fact watch them with my subscription.

I have been using it for a week. I really enjoy using it. Though, price for the Roku 4 is very high, the clarity it can provide is astonishing.

I bought this Roku 4 as soon as it was released. I was totally looking for 4K Channel selection and extremely fast streaming capabilities - and this new Roku 4 met the challenge. I have been totally pleased and delighted with its performance and speed. My only issue was when I first got the device - and the fan noise was really loud - after a call to tech support - I did a full reset - and so far so good. The 4K on my Sony 75" XBR is breathtaking!!
