Just got it installed last week and figured how to get our church in order to watch worship 'Streaming" or on-line. Although too early to judge the quality, I have high hopes.

Works great, but read the fine print

Bought this specifically for the 4k ability to go with my uhd tv. Unfortunately I can't use it for 4k because my ancient (3 yr old) av receiver supports 4k but not HDCP 2.2, so I can only stream 1080 at best unless I shell out for a new receiver.
Super easy to set up, navigate and find great things to stream. I should have done more due diligence and read about hdcp 2.2 support beforehand. I would have just gone with the Roku 3 and saved a few bucks instead of having to save for a new home theater.

Same good features, small downsides

Bought this unit a week ago to replace a Roku3 (moved to another room) on our main use TV. Hookup and setup was straight-forward, as expected. Performance speed is a little faster, as expected. Much larger size was a bit surprising but ok. What IS a surprise is how hot this unit runs. I mean HOT. So hot I worried about the natural wood cabinet surface on which it sits. So I put a thick coaster under it to see if that makes the wood surface a little cooler. The other nagging issue is that when I first select the Roku's HDMI port on the TV I get only a black screen... not the screensaver as before. I have to hit the Home button on the controller to bring it to life. Then, the home screen will flash black again 2 or 3 times before settling down and accepting commands from the controller. I did some research on this and found that this or a flicker has been experienced by many people. For my issue the only suggestion with indicated success (firmware is already updated) is to change the connecting HDMI cable running from the Cable Co box to the Roku4 to a new one. Apparently the older cables can't handle the needed signal (speed?) for the Roku4. Perhaps this will fix the issue for me. I'm getting a new cable in a day or two.

I purchased the new Roku 4 about a week ago to instal on my new 4K TV. Even though the new TV is a smart set and already has Netflix, AmazonPrime, and Pandora etc. built in the Roku 4 offers channels and features that aren't available on the TV. It's a great addition and I really like the physical size of the unit compared to the older versions (and I have all of them!) The new Roku 4 slides right under the TV and is barely visible. I haven't had time to explore all the new features of this Roku but it works so well with the new 4K TV. The solution/picture quality is awesome.
