Rook 4 Hands Down The Best

I have read a lot of reviews about most of the streaming devices out there, and I have purchased and returned all but one - the Roku 4.
The interface is easy to understand, the voice search is responsive, and the channel selection is much more than the others. I was also able to download my cable companies streaming software and watch all local channels, foodTV, HGTV, and HBO for only $4.00 above my internet bill.
None of the other devices provided this ability. Also, the channel selections are wildly greater and diverse than any of the other devices, and you can use your computer or remote to select them, however, I suggest the computer since it organizes the channels by genre.
If you are like me, and you want to cut the cable/satellite cord and pay $90 less per month, while still getting plenty of viewing options then this product is the one I would recommend.
In Summary, the Roku 4 more affordable, provides more options, and is very responsive. This isn't the old Roku for yester years, so save your money and give yourself more options and choose Ruko 4.

I bought this a few weeks ago, in hopes to cut the cord on cable. So far I like all that I can accomplish with this device. There are a few things that I am still trying to figure out but I am happy I chose the Roku 4.

It keep loosing the signal. Sometime the pictures jus turn into some kind of blurry images. Not very happy with this one. Maybe it need some adjustment to give us a better images.

Wrong aspect ratio with SlingPlayer or other apps

So far it has worked great. The only thing I can give Roku thumbs down on is there are no instructions included with the unit other than basic setup. It does give you an online link for instructions but they don't absolutely follow the actual event and in some places they are lacking. I am still trying to find instructions for the remote and what all the buttons are for. If it is on the website - I can't find them.

I bought this a few weeks ago. This is my second roku 4. The first one had glitches. Biggest problem was when it shUT it self off after 30 minutes of no use. Turning it back on was a problem. I had to unplug the device to use it again as the remote would lose contact with box and would not turn it back on.
Second unite I have now has been ok and so far no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I get more HD and lots of free stuff

I love the ability to stream up to 4K UHD, free channels, great intuitive user interface and voice search...just to name a few! With the time warner app from the cable company I get more HD than with my cable box and the ability to add extra TV's into the home in rooms without a cable box.. Easy hookup and saves me money.
